Our signature Cookie was created by Stéfanie Poulin in her home kitchen in 2007. Delicious, gluten and dairy free... it quickly won over the clientele of various cafés and restaurants in Little Burgundy and downtown Montreal.
Seeing how successful her Cookie was becoming, Stéfanie decided to partner with Marie-Claude Huard, a cookie industry veteran with more than ten years experience in research and development. Marie-Claude went on to develop dozens of new recipes for COOKIE STÉFANIE, including the first gluten-free cupcakes in Montreal! Together, they found a location to set up their commercial kitchen and COOKIE STÉFANIE opened its doors in Old Montreal in 2012.
Stéfanie decided to leave the business a few months later to pursue other projects close to her heart. The rest of the team, headed by Marie-Claude Huard, continue to passionately follow their mission to create the best gluten-free products (some are also dairy and egg free) using the best possible ingredients.
